Specialist IB Theory of Knowledge Tutor: IB 44/45 | 99.75 ATAR Hey, I'm Josh and I graduated with an International Baccalaureate score of 44/45 , equivalent to an ATAR of 99.75. I currently study a bachelor of commerce and a bachelor of laws at the University of Sydney and am passionate about learning and I enjoy helping others understand difficult concepts to ensure that their academic journeys are as smooth as possible. I enjoy teaching from first principles and ensuring that students understand fundamentals, rather than rote learn. I have tutored both University and High School students for 2 years in French, Mathematics, Economics, Business Management, Sports Exercise and health science, English and theory of knowledge. I have always had a passion for philosophy and the theory of knowledge component of the IB. I have tutored in more than 6 subjects for more than 2 years and I have now decided to specialise my expertise in theory of knowledge. As a past 2020 IB graduate, I understand how difficult, challenging and complex ToK can be, especially when teachers struggle with the subject as well! I have analysed theory of knowledge principles for more than 4 years now and have written free analysis on more than 15 past Theory of knowledge essay titles to help students obtain an A grade. After analysing countless ToK Essays I have learned what to include, what insights to provide and how to structure the essay to help students obtain the highest mark.
