I sat my HSC in 2020 and achieved an ATAR of 98.45 and scored 3100 in my UCAT which was a high 96th percentile. I was fortunate enough to get into the Doctor of Medicine course at Western Sydney University in 2022, after having studied the same course for a year at the University of Queensland. I've been teaching for close to 3 years now, and have been able to build up a wealth of experience guiding students to successful results in the HSC course. I've taught students from some of Sydney's top selective schools including Sydney Boys, Sydney Girls and Hurlstone just to name a few, and many of these students have gone on to receive top HSC marks. As a part of one of the earliest cohorts to complete the new HSC syllabus, I hope to teach you how to take on the new and unique challenges that it brings. During my time as a student, through both my own studies and through helping others, I’ve realised that the best way to learn is to truly interact with the content. It’s about asking why something is the way it is instead of simply rote learning how it works, and in my experience, the monotonous worksheets and textbook explanations rarely ever facilitate this experience. As such, I teach with the aim of helping you to develop a deep understanding of complex content in a manner that allows you to garner the adaptability required to take on the nuanced and multifaceted questions that NESA love to ask in the HSC. I hope to achieve this through having classes that are heavily focused on a discussion on the content and reinforced through regular practice of a variety of past questions from both HSC and trial examinations. I can do both one on one lessons from $45/hour and group lessons for Physics, Chemistry, Advanced Mathematics & Extension I Mathematics from $35/hr pp. I’m happy to have my classes both face to face or online, depending on your preference, so just let me know what you prefer and we can organise at your convenience.
