ATAR 99.25 | GPA 6.7 | Hello, my name is Sam and I've been tutoring ATAR for 3 years. Currently, I am a 3rd year student at UQ studying microbiology and bioinformatics in the Bachelor of Advanced Science program. I graduated Indooroopilly State High with an ATAR of 99.25 in 2021. I studied Physics, Mathematical Methods (Maths B), Chemistry, Biology, Modern History and English. I have won multiple academic honours including the Dean's Commendation and the Ken Austin Science Award. I really enjoyed my studies at school and graduated with scores above 90% in all the subjects I studied. I am especially dedicated to science subjects where I achieved scores above 97% in Chemistry, Physics and Biology. As a graduate of the new QCE ATAR system I know how the system works and can help students prepare for senior studies by providing access to resources such as workbooks, and practice papers. I'm also just as prepared to offer help to students in Junior High School who want to either consolidate or extend upon what they learned in class. I'm happy to either help students with homework and revision or prepare extension material to help them get ahead. I can provide one-to-one tuition either at the student's home, online or at UQ, Indooroopilly or Toowong libraries. Sam has been a student in my Year 11 physics class in 2020. He is an outstanding student - hardworking, organised and meticulous about submitting work on time. He has a very strong understanding of concepts in physics and mathematics and achieved top marks in all of his assessment this year. He is a creative and critical thinker and works collaboratively with his classmates in group situations. My friend Samuel is my go to guy whenever I find myself in a pickle with a topic or question. With his incredible arsenal of knowledge he is consistently able to explain a topic to me in great detail so that I am able to understand it on the same level as him. Not only that but he also shows great compassion and patience so no matter how confused I may find myself, he is determined to make me understand the question.
