About

Hello! My name is Amy and I graduated year 12 from Queensland Academy For Science, Mathematics and Technology (QASMT), the selective and top performing school in Queensland in 2020. I graduated with an ATAR of 98.7, all the whilst maintaining various extracurricular activities such as Science Ambassador leadership and service activities such as fundraisers. I can assist with study methods and techniques that you reach your full academic potential, and have helped me reach the top 8% of my cohort whilst maintaining various extracurriculars. I have tutored at QASMT in their Peer Tutoring Programme and have been a person of interest to be part of their Alumni Tutoring Programme. As a tutor, I will act as a learning guide who caters for the individual needs of students by helping with any problems or questions that students may have. I have also accumulated various resources that will help students which I can pass on. I am offering tutoring in the following subjects: Chemistry HL/SL - 6 (1 mark away from 7) Biology HL/SL - 7 Business Management HL/SL - 7 Extended Essay (Chemistry) - A Theory of Knowledge - A I can also provide help through feedback on any IB Internal Assessment. As the IB and the ATAR curriculum overlap, I can also help with ATAR subjects including: Science Biology Chemistry Business Studies ATAR assessments Having just completed the IB diploma programme, I fully understand its rigour and the stresses which come with it. I have gained an insight about the time management, skills and traits which are needed to succeed in the programme which I would love to pass on to students to help equip them for their schooling journey.
