About

Hello! My name is Mehak and I am a university student at the University of Sydney. I study a double degree in Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Physics). I attended Girraween High School as a selective High School student for grades 7-12. Throughout these years, I consistently achieved high marks in all of my subjects. As a dedicated student and tutor, I strive for excellence and aim to motivate others to achieve high scores as well. I have extensive experience and confidence in tutoring students for the OC Placement Test and Selective High School Test. I have achieved excellent results on both tests and have helped numerous students score over 200 on these exams. I specialise in Maths and Science tutoring with personalised theory content, notes and practice questions. I have accelerated science in year 9 and scored 90+ in all my junior math tests. I am proud to share that I attained a BAND 6 in accelerated Investigating Science HSC with a mark of 95. Additionally, I successfully completed Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 at Girraween and achieved a band 6 in the HSC. Along with these, I also pursued Physics and Chemistry in my HSC and furthered my passion for science by pursuing a Physics degree. I believe in adapting my teaching style to suit the student's individual needs. I begin by identifying their preferred learning style and tailor my approach accordingly. With a focus on building a deep understanding of the content, we then move on to practising questions. This approach helps to identify areas where the student may be struggling and allows us to work together to improve their skills. I also have many helpful tips on selective schools, high school life and successful study hacks and secrets.
