Hi! My name is Belinda and I'm currently studying Undergraduate Medicine at UNSW. I graduated in Nov 2018 as Dux after completing the IB, and after being on a full academic scholarship throughout high school and on the Honour Roll each year. Besides UNSW Medicine, I was also accepted into top international universities/colleges including Oxford University in the UK and Ivy League Colleges in the US. I am passionate about tutoring and mentoring my students, so that they can similarly attain their academic goals. Consequently, I am part of a tutoring start-up that provides our students with the benefits of individualised private tutoring, combined with additional resources and support from a team of tutors that help to supplement the learning of our students. My colleagues and I have had 8+ years of successful tutoring experience, with our students gaining 100% academic scholarships to prestigious private schools, being accepted into top Selective schools, getting 100% in class exams, ranking first in their subjects internally, and achieving high ATARs (e.g. HSC 99.75 ATAR, 44/45 IB score in 2022) Our team consists of tutors who similarly have a wealth of tutoring experience and who have been academically successful, including those accepted into Oxford University in the UK, Ivy League Colleges/Stanford in the US and top programs in Australia including Medicine and Law. Our range of tutors enables us to employ the specialisations and strengths of each tutor to best support and guide our students. Like myself, each of our tutors has experience tutoring a wide range of students, ranging from primary school students to secondary students preparing for their IB/HSC exams and completing their college applications. As tutors, we have assisted in teaching course content (helping students catch up with school work or getting ahead with our additional resources), helping with internal assessment and assignment preparation, preparing for specific exams, assisting with organisation and study skills, as well as anything in between! Some of our subjects on offer are: IB: English literature + language and literature, Maths AA/AI, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Economics, French, Japanese, Psychology, ESS, TOK, EE, etc. HSC: English of all levels, Maths of all levels, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Modern History, Ancient History, PDHPE, French, etc. Years 7-10: English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Commerce, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Latin, etc. We currently have a mix of IB, HSC, lower secondary school and primary school students, tutoring them in subjects including IB Literature and Lang & Lit, IB Maths AA and AI, IB French, IB Chemistry, Biology and Physics, HSC Standard, Advanced and Extension English, HSC Extension 2, Extension 1, Advanced and Standard Maths, HSC Chemistry and Biology, HSC Economics, HSC PDHPE, Year 7-10 English and Maths, HAST, selective and scholarship preparation, OC preparation, etc. The rate varies depending on subject, year level and location, but we offer an initial trial lesson at a lower rate with one of our experienced and top-achieving tutors (excluding GST)!
