About

Hi! My name is Julia Schmidt and I have just completed my International Baccalaureate exams in the November 2019 session, receiving a 99 ATAR equivalent. I've just moved from Brisbane and am studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Sydney. I am also taking International Business, as a second major, and Advanced French, as an elective. In addition, I am under the Dalyell Scholar academic program which further develops my academic abilities. My higher level subjects were English A Lit, History and Psychology, while, my standard level subjects were French, SEHS and Math Studies. Although I am highly capable of tutoring all these subjects, my higher levels are the ones I am most passionate about. As I have just recently graduated, I understand the demand and stress of the IB and that's why I'm here to help! I'm happy to provide additional resources (i.e. my notes and essays) that got me through the IB as well as general tips and advice on how to study for the final exams. As a part of CAS, during years 11 and 12, I volunteered as a primary school class assistant where I was able to gain training and experience that has helped me become a more effective tutor. Ideally, I would like to tutor at Uni, however, I am willing to travel around Darlington within reason.
