About

Hi there, I’m Kirralee! I graduated from Frankston High School in 2019 with an ATAR of 93.95, and I have received numerous scores above 40 in Chemistry, English, Further Mathematics, and Business Management. I have always had an interest in teaching and helping others, leading to my decision of pursuing a double degree of Science and Biomedical Science at Monash University, preparing me to pursue careers in either medicine or teaching. I have experience tutoring Year 9 Math, Year 12 Chemistry, both Year 11 and 12 English as well as Further Maths. However I am keen to branch out into my other strengths such as Business Management as well. The texts for VCE English I have specifically learnt and taught include: All the Light We Cannot See, Rear Window, Runaway, The Golden Age, The Women of Troy, The Kite Runner, Ransom and The Queen, The Crucible and The Dress Maker, The 7 Stages of Grieving and The Longest Memory, Islands (short stories), High Ground and Macbeth. I aim to provide my younger students with a deeper understanding of their subjects, helping to create a solid foundation in which they can grow from and with my VCE students I aim to further their understanding of their subjects, whilst also providing multiple different resources throughout the year, deepening their knowledge and best preparing them for SACS and Exams. If you are interested in online, or in person tutoring (specifically around the Mornington Peninsula), please feel free to message me!!

Reviews

Kirralee taught me Chemistry and English this year and she was an amazing help. She was very thorough and had many extra resources to apply the learned content.

I went into Year 12 English this year with a very cynical and disinterested mindset, but Kirra helped me transform that completely. Tutoring sessions were always engaging (and dare I say fun), and even when I was really struggling, she was always super patient and understanding. I could not have done nearly as well as I did with Kirra's help. She is by far the best tutor I've ever had. I would (and probably will) recommend to anyone.

Kirralee was my English tutor for 2 years ending with VCE English. During this time I found Kirralee to be very informative and knowledgeable with the skills necessary at a VCE level. She assisted me with essay structure, identifying themes in texts and essay writing at a VCE level. I can honestly say her skills in tutoring have assisted me enormously and believe her sessions provided me with the necessary skills to perform at my best. I have no hesitation in recommending Kirralee as a tutor. She has always reviewed and assisted with extra work I submitted to her. She was always flexible with the timing of sessions and very dependable.

Kirralee really helped me through Year 12 - 3/4 Chemistry. She provided me with thorough summaries and made me feel more confident in my chemistry abilities through a bunch of practice questions and her explanations. Not only did she help me in Chemistry but, in the other subjects that we had in common (English, Further Maths and Visual Communication Design)and she was overall just a really nice person to talk to.

Kirra was my English tutor and is very passionate about the subject. She loves working on texts and went above and beyond the amount of effort required of her to help me succeed. She was always bright and cheery which made tutoring a lot more fun!
