Experienced ATAR 99.95 tutor: Y7 – 12 (VCE and IB) Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, general Science, Mathematics, Mainstream English, English Literature, Extended Essay (EE) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

My name is Hazel and I am currently studying the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University. I graduated from Methodist Ladies’ College in 2019 with a perfect International Baccalaureate score of 45, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95.

At a senior level, I offer tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Mainstream English and English Literature. Additionally, I tutor IB specific course requirements, including Theory of Knowledge (orals and essays) and Extended Essays focused in English Literature.

For years 7 - 10, I also offer English, Mathematics and general Science.

I am highly passionate about the subjects I tutor and am equally passionate about guiding students through these subjects by acknowledging their unique strengths and weaknesses. I have experience in one-on-one tutoring and have had the pleasure of seeing many students flourish academically under my guidance.

Being a recent graduate, I am highly knowledgeable about these subjects’ syllabi and valuable exam techniques to push students into the highest mark band. Furthermore, I provide extra resources to propel students through the course, in addition to valuable exemplars. Our lessons will be tailored to fit students’ individual needs and learning styles.

In conjunction with academic support, as a medical student at Monash University, I am open to coaching prospective medical students through the selection process to maximise their likelihood of acceptance.
