I was a highschool English and Business teacher for over 8 years in Queensland. I have a Graduate Diploma in Education (Senior Secondary) and a Masters of Education with Distinction. My tertiary studies and teaching experience means I understand the objectives of the curriculum and how to meet assessment criteria. I currently work remotely for the NSW Department of Education creating professional learning for NSW teachers.
I can help students with assignments and preparation for exams, including reviewing class work, working on drafts, and practising writing responses. I can help students understand complex texts and provide feedback on their work.
My preferred location to meet is at the Cairns city or Earlville library.
Please note I will be away for 5 weeks at the start of Term 4 which may not suit students solely looking for a tutor to help prepare them for external exams.
