Tutoring near Hurstville, Sydney, NSW & Sydney, Sydney, NSW

Hi!! I’m Angela and I graduated from Sydney Girls High School with a 99.60 ATAR in 2019. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at UNSW.

My relevant HSC results are as follows:
Economics: 95/100 (1st internally in Prelims & 2nd internally in HSC)
Chemistry: 96/100 (3rd internally in HSC)
Mathematics Extension 1: 96/100

As a recent graduate, I have picked up (and will very gladly share with all my students!) a number of tips and tricks in effective exam preparation and study skills, as well as heaps of valuable resources (e.g. my fine-tuned HSC notes for Chemistry and Economics, various textbooks and workbooks for the new Chemistry syllabus, 20/20 Economics essay plans and case studies, etc.). In addition to this, all lessons will be personalised to the individual needs of what you need as a student - it could be anything from thoroughly exploring coursework concepts, attempting past papers together, providing essay feedback, reviewing past assessment tasks; you name it, and I'd be happy to help!

For all subjects, I offer one-on-one tutoring for $50/hr (currently teaching through Zoom only). I'm also happy to tutor on an as-needed basis, or provide online feedback for essays/case studies/depth studies for a reduced rate.

Feel free to contact me for more info ☺️
I'm looking forward to helping you in any way I can!

The medicine interview is the final obstacle in the extremely competitive selection process for studying medicine at your chosen university, and is often weighted just as much as (if not more than!) your HSC ATAR and UCAT results. Therefore, it’s crucial that you prepare as best as you can for this ultimate stretch in your journey towards medical school; don't let your whole year's worth of effort go to waste!

In addition to the UNSW Medicine interview, I also attended interviews and successfully received offers for studying a Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Adelaide and The University of New England/University of Newcastle (Joint Medical Program), as well as a Doctor of Dentistry degree at The University of Sydney. I was also accepted into the Medicine degrees at The University of Queensland and Griffith University.

Hence, I have plenty of invaluable resources and insights that are tailored to these universities, their criteria and their specific interview types (i.e. panel, MMI, group panel discussion or written assessments). On top of these resources, I'm also able to help you build the most uniquely impressive, yet authentic, personal responses to questions and conduct mock interviews to ensure that you are able to confidently show the interviewers the best of you to maximise your chances of gaining admission to medical school! Please contact me if you have any questions :)
