Hi i'm Kate, a final year medical student at the University of Newcastle. I completed the International Baccalaureate in 2018 and received a 7 in both Higher Level Chemistry and Biology - I would love to help you out in these subjects, at any level. I have also tutored maths for students in years 7-11 with some great results if that is what you are looking for! I have tutored and mentored more than 12 students over the past six years, and noticed considerable improvement in both marks and confidence. I work to reinforce ideas missed or misunderstood in an accessible and supportive way, work through questions to improve exam technique, and provide tips and tricks I've picked up along the way. I prefer to meet at one of the university libraries, but am happy to consider driving to your home. I also have found it increasingly common for students to seek online tutoring, and am currently offering zoom tutoring sessions.
