Hello y'all desperate victims of the IB:
I'm Michael, I completed the IB diploma in 2020 with a score of 45/45, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95, and am currently studying B. Sci/Doctor of Medicine at Usyd. I was the three-year Dux of the IB Candidature in TGS including both Year 11 and 12, ranking first in chemistry, physics, mathematics, English and Chinese.
The International Baccalaureate has a notorious stigma for being work-heavy and difficult. But just like any other examination system, IB has its own secrets and tricks that allow ANYONE to score well without putting in excessive amounts of work. I teach my students to work smart and not hard.
