Need a tutor? I’m your guy. Hi, I’m Albert, a 2019 Brisbane State High OP1 equivalent graduate who can deliver and make sure you get the grades you desire. I'm currently a 3rd year Physiotherapy student at UQ. I have been tutoring students for over 3 years, and helping my friends in school for longer. I am a very enthusiastic, friendly person who genuinely enjoys teaching and passing my knowledge to other students in need. By allowing my students to understand how and why the content we are taught is useful gives me a certain satisfaction. In my sessions, I hope to provide the students with newfound knowledge in an efficient manner. I will make sure to thoroughly prepare for each lesson by providing a range of quality (A level and MAPS) practice questions that I have accumulated over my time as a student, which can be used for assistance. I can also provide help with assignments, checking homework and giving tips and advices with exam preparations. I entered Brisbane State High through academic merit and have since then gone on to graduate Brisbane State High studying Math B (VH8), Math C (VH4), Chinese (VH9), Chemistry (VH2), and Biology (VH4). During high school, I had also referee and coach basketball teams as well as earning money on the side as a personal basketball skill coach. Through this experience, I had learnt how to effectively communicate with a variety of people and help maximise their potential in an engaging and efficient manner. I am currently available to provide help to students who are seeking to strengthen and improve their understanding in their subjects that they are struggling on. I offer a range of one-on-one and group tutoring options. I offer my lessons in person where the students can visit me at UQ, Garden city library or Logan Hyperdome library. I also offer home visit, provided that the student resides within 10 – 15 minutes from Loganholme area. In addition, I offer my lessons online via zoom as well. Prices are negotiable as my main purpose of tutoring is making sure the students get the right help for their academic studies. I am usually very responsive, generally within an hour.
