Hey there! I'm Nicole, a first-year uni student studying a Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Politics and International Relations)/ Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Business Law) at the University of Sydney. I graduated in 2019 from Strathfield Girls High School having studied and completed: 4u English, Legal Studies, Modern History, SOR1, History Extension, overall accumulating a 90+ ATAR.

I have tutored primary to secondary school English for 2 years now, and Legal Studies for 1 year. Moreover, I have worked in both 1-1 tutoring environments as well as formal classroom settings of 15+ students at HTM tutoring.
Being a part of the first cohort required to undertake the new HSC and investing much of my time into studying the syllabus, collating study guides, essay plans, textbooks, and other resources (always learning !), I believe I am well equipped to tutor you/your child. I will always do my best to try and accommodate the learning style of my students and often spend my free time constructing powerpoints, mind maps, essay plans, and learning how to use the whiteboard function on Zoom.

I currently offer tutoring services for the following subjects:
~ Tutoring for Standard + Advanced English, Legal Studies, History Extension, Junior School English, Geography, and Commerce
~ Mentoring for English Extension 1 and 2

I am more than willing to provide you/your child with refreshing study skills, organisation tactics, and tips on how I coped with university application processes (UAC and early entry where I received 6 early offers from universities including USYD, UOW, MQU, and UNSW). Having been elected prefect and peer support leader in high school by my peers and having a very outgoing, extroverted personality in general, I believe I can be a (subjectively) fun tutor that can help fuel you/your children interest in the humanities and writing in general.

Thank you for visiting my profile and please feel free to message me if you have any additional inquiries or are interested in commencing tutoring with me.

Nicole has been a great asset to my studies. I would have to give credit to her for the steady improvements in my marks for legal studies since last year. Over the first couple sessions Nicole had already deduced all my strengths and weaknesses and had set out a plan for me to follow over year 11. Her approach to tutoring is methodical and her attitude was very upbeat and positive the entire time. I would recommend anyone looking for a tutor to consider Nicole!

As an acquaintance and former classmate of Nicole Pan I can wholly reaffirm that Nicole is an accomplished and proficient learner, as presented in her assignments and Higher School Certificate results. Furthermore, I personally believe she holds the ability to utilize her attentive and accommodating nature to fuel any student's spark for learning. Making her apt for the role of High school Tutor.
