About

Hello!!

My job is to make myself redundant. I want to grow your confidence and independence in your study. How I primarily achieve this is by teaching you specific skills, processes and mental framework that will allow you to become self guided. Along with those skills I want to ingrain, I can also provide an extensive knowledge of SACE Stage 1 & 2 curriculum.

My name is Rachel, and I finished Year 12 in 2019. I am currently in second year studying Paramedicine at Flinders University. I have three year experience tutoring and have assisted over 40 students during this time.

I studied Specialist Maths, Mathematical Methods, Biology, Chemistry and Design. I achieved an ATAR of 99.95 with adjustment factors. I got an A+ in Chemistry (19.60), Methods (19.40) and Biology (19.20), and A's in Specialist and Design.

I really enjoy explaining concepts to my peers, and finding different ways to communicate the same idea to students. I have a passion for understanding complex topics, which has allowed me to develop extensive knowledge of the subjects that I studied in Year 12.
I achieved excellent grades, but more importantly, I focus upon gaining an intimate understanding of the content within each topic of each subject, which allowed me to perform well in tests and assignments. I believe that this positive attitude to learning will infect any student that I tutor.

I have a current Police Check, DCSI (Working With Children Check) and Child Safe Training.

Thanks for reading!
I hope to hear from you soon :)

My lessons with Rachel have been great! She is really outgoing, and I felt comfortable around her from the very start! She has extensive knowledge of year 12 Methods and Chemistry, explains everything concisely and clearly. I would highly recommend her to any other student!
