About

Hi there, I’m Viv! I’ve been teaching for over 5 years now. Since graduating from Baulkham Hills High School with an ATAR of 98.7 in 2017, I’ve been tutoring in all sorts of environments: one-on-one, tutoring centres and at the moment I’m working in a tutoring start-up based in Penrith, whilst completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Computer Science at UNSW! I have always been committed to understanding my student’s individual needs to provide flexible and tailored lessons where we work together to tackle weaker areas and improve on their strengths. Besides the material, questions and past papers, I also share relevant tips and advice - anything from your subjects and productivity, to life habits and career paths :) My aspiration for teaching is to simply open the minds of all students (or anyone) to new ideas and guide them to think more deeply about what school really has to offer. While I always make sure they achieve the marks they want, it's never been just about the marks themselves. The self-discipline, character and growth mindset they develop along the way are far more valuable and enduring is the idea I’d like to instil in all my students. This is what leads me to enjoy going above and beyond to help you and all my students build confidence to not only do well in school, but also to pursue your own vision of success. Vivian is one of the most amazing tutors I have ever worked with. In my teaching experience, I have not seen anyone with the ability to carry the class away like she does. Her ability to eloquently express herself allows students to model themselves around. Vivian is easy to approach and is a wealth of knowledge; which is perhaps the reason she has made a such a tremendous impact to her students, her colleagues and people around her.
