Hi, my name is Violet and I recently graduated from Ballarat Grammar with an ATAR of 97.8. I am now studying a Bachelor of Arts/Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at Deakin University as a recipient of the University's Vice Chancellor's Scholarship.
I have 3 years of experience tutoring students in English. In my work as a Private Tutor for Ballarat and Geelong families, I have helped students in their development of reading, spelling, idea generation and writing (creative and analytical).
I have also worked with children who are working towards Scholarship Testing (Edutest) within their schools.
On a volunteer basis, I have tutored students through organisations including the Smith Family Children's Charity and the City of Ballarat. In these role, I have worked with students who speak English as a second language to develop their reading fluency and comprehension.
I also have experience on a volunteer basis working with children whose learning is impacted by disabilities such as Autism and ADHD.
I am available for online lessons, as well as sessions at Central Highlands Library, Wendouree Library, or at other locations in and around Ballarat.
