In 2017, I received my International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, with an overall score of 41/45 (ATAR: 98.85), studying History HL, Literature HL and Latin HL, and Biology SL, Music SL and Mathematical studies SL. Latin has always been one of my favourite subjects. I studied Latin HL for the IB in year 11 and 12, finishing with the highest grade possible 7/7, as well as topping my cohort.
My foremost reason for wanting to tutor this subject is to be able to inspire other students to be as excited as myself about the subject, and in doing so get them the marks they deserve for whatever course they are studying. Above all, I seek to provide students an understanding of the instrumental value of knowledge within this subject, and ideally spur their curiosity and pursuit of knowledge in this field.
I am particularly interested in tutoring current year 11 and 12 IB students. Whether you are in need of someone to help build and further your knowledge in a subject, give you notes and past papers, mark and edit your work, or provide you with useful advice on study and exam techniques, I would love to help!
