Hello! My name is Emma and I am currently studying Science Education at UOW to become a High School Science Teacher, Majoring in Biology. I graduated from high school in 2018 with a 85% in Biology using specific to my individual learning methods which saw a 15% increase in my marks over the Year 12 period. Therefore, I believe high school is about figuring out how you work best and what you enjoy. I have experienced what is it like to struggle to perform to my own best standard in a subject, which hindered my enjoyment of the subject and general lifestyle. Thus, as a tutor I can not only tutor you in Biology, but I can aid in time management, HSC/Trials/Mid-Year Exam revision (as a one off tutoring session to prepare if desired) and most importantly, trial and error of figuring out together how you work best to remember those tough concepts and thrive in the Biology subject, even if it is the 7 marker, long answer responses. If required, I am happy to set light homework (eg. multiple choice/ short answer/ long response) catered to you or your child's needs free of cost, to be emailed back and marked before the next tutoring session.
