Hi! I'm Jess, I'm currently in my final year of a Doctor of Medicine at UWA. I am available for online or in person tutoring for anyone Perth based and online for those in Albany or elsewhere!
During my undergraduate I majored in Human Biology and Zoology. I went to St Mary's Anglican Girls' School and graduated in 2017 with an ATAR of 98.95.
I have worked with the Department of Education as a private tutor and the Department of Communities (Dept. of Child Protection), going to schools and one on one tutoring foster children. So I have lots of experience especially with children from lower year groups. This also means that I have my working with children, national police check and other clearances!
I genuinely really enjoy tutoring and I try to make sessions fun and enjoyable for the kids as well! I'm patient and enthusiastic with lots of experience tutoring a range of kids in a wide variety of subjects. In year 12 I scored especially well in Literature and Economics. My tutoring specialities are definitely Literature, English, Mathematics and Science/Human Biology. The majority of my students are from Year 10 and want Math help, or are in Year 11/12 studying English or Literature, so I have a lot of experience and success with both of those curriculums!
I acheived a 92 in the UMAT/UCAT and got offered an interview for Medicine at UWA, so I can also help with UCAT/UMAT preparation.
