I am a current Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Melbourne in my final year of studies. I graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedicine and concurrent Diploma in Languages (French) in 2021 both with first class honours.
Please note I am not currently taking on new students in 2025.
I have 8 years of tutoring experience, in both a group environment and one-on-one services, specialising in VCE and University-level French, as well as VCE Maths Methods (units 1-4).
I achieved an ATAR of 99.65 in 2018, with scores of 50.3, 44.6 and 45.5 in French, Biology and Maths Methods respectively. I am incredibly passionate about the French language and its teaching, having engaged with the creation of VCE assessment for several companies and schools in addition to providing conversation classes for students preparing for their end-of-year oral examinations and SACs.
For Maths Methods, I have tutored over 25 students in the past 6 years - all from varying maths backgrounds - who have exceeded their goal score. I have studied University-level calculus along with VCE Specialist Maths, giving me a high level of knowledge in this domain.
Since 2019, I have tutored VCE French students who achieved raw study scores in the mid to high 40s. My sessions are tailored to the VCAA curriculum and cover the fundamentals of the listening, reading and writing sections in the end of year exam. There is also a large focus on the oral assessment with preparation starting early in the year. French is a notoriously intricate subject in high school, which is what encourages me to simplify it as best as I can so that students can gain the confidence they need to perform well.
I am currently only offering sessions on Zoom as I have done for the past four years. This can be particularly useful during maths lessons where I can share live annotations of notes and practice questions which students can follow and review later on. I can also provide recordings of conversation lessons for French.
Please feel free to contact me to further discuss logistics.
