Hi!
I am Chantal. I am a 32-year-old secondary teacher. I have been an active English teacher since 2019, and have taught across all secondary levels (7-12), including General English, ATAR English and ATAR Literature.
In my current role, I am an ATAR specialist; planning, teaching and assessing across Years 11-12 ATAR English and Literature, including exam and WACE preparation. I also program for and teach Academic Extension.
My previous experience includes: Years 11-12 General English (including preparation for the EST), 7-10 Literacy Intervention, OLNA support and Year 10 ATAR pathway development.
I have my National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and also have two children of my own, so I am well equipped to work with children of all ages. I enjoy all forms of teaching and tutoring, and am well versed in the Australian and Western Australian Curriculum(s) and associated learning goals.
