Note: I am taking students for 2024. I'll be on silent retreat from 11th December until 5th February, and will be in touch when I get back. Hello :) I'm Katie, and I am an experienced tutor. There is nothing quite like witnessing a student's moment of realisation when everything just comes together. I've been tutoring in both one-on-one and group settings for the past 16 years. My school students range from years 1 to 12 and have varied backgrounds and needs. I have taught maths, English, science, and life skills, but my passion is mathematics. For the past 10 years I have also been teaching applied mathematics to PhD students - the upcoming generation of researchers. However, it is important to me to spend time helping the younger students develop their understanding and to see the inherent beauty in mathematics.
