About

Hi! My name is Misa and I am currently in my fourth and final year of nutrition and dietetics at QUT. I am thrilled to work alongside students to not only help them understand and do well within the subject but also to build confidence in their own abilities so that they may find joy and satisfaction too. My goal is to offer lessons that are tailored to the individual student and their unique strengths and weaknesses, as I understand that each student will require a variety of teaching methods. I live in Caboolture, however I can also teach in all suburbs less than 10 minutes away and I am happy to teach at the local library Results for year 12 *Maths B VHA 8 *Biology VHA 9 *Japanese VHA 10 *Chemistry VHA 4 *Religion and Ethics A+

Misa is an amazing individual and tutor. I was struggling in mathematics B and looking at failing the subject. After one term of tutoring my results improved dramatically. She was able to explain formulas in a way that I could understand and never got frustrated if I didn't get it first go. As my understanding grew, so did my confidence. Misa never rushed me out the door because my session time was over, instead she would continue until we had completed the task, even if that meant we went over time. Misa is a wonderfully gifted tutor and human being. I am forever grateful to her for my success. Jack

For two years Misa tutored me in Year 11 and Year 12 Mathematics B and Japanese. She has a great understanding of her subjects and, because of that, her explanations are concise and insightful. She is very kind, patient, and understanding. Not once did she get angry or frustrated when I didn't understand something, she just slowed down and explained it more thoroughly. Well organised. When she has a semester planner, she'll do chapters before the tutoring sessions, so they'll be no confusion on both parties. Wasn't afraid to go overtime to finish explaining topics, and never leaves anything incomplete. When I wasn't able to do in person lessons, she offered online lessons which were just as helpful. We video called and she had a white board where she would write things. Great tutor. I highly recommend. Her prices are too low for the amazing service she offers.
