I'm currently teaching drama at both Hunter Drama, YPT (Young Peoples Theatre) as well as teach acting workshops at CHAAYS talent agency in Newcastle. Recently I have joined the team at WEA tutoring drama 3-5yrs and taking on the adult acting classes. I have also been a private tutor for 4 yrs now and have a small studio in my home.
Not only do I teach drama but I teach life-skills and have a special program set up for children who are perhaps struggling in class. Teaching children as young as 5yrs* I can provide your child with a monologue to learn, how to work on character development, improvisational skills and auditions for theatre as well as for HSPA (Hunter School Performing Arts) where I have achieved excellent results with students.
Teaching acting is not all I do, I'm also a Mother of two and for over 20yrs I have worked professionally in the entertainment industry having appeared on commercials, short films, featured extra in films and a singer with local bands as well as a solo artist. In the theatre community, I have received a number of City Of Newcastle Drama Award, nominations (CONDA's) and winner in 2019 for best supporting actress in a musical as the role of Tanya in Mamma Mia!
Recently I have obtained my first aid in Mental health for Young People and have worked closely with children who have additional needs.
Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult and parents are welcome to stay with older children during the lesson*

Angelas' warm and welcoming manner and small, intimate studio made me feel right at ease. My daughters' confidence has blossomed over the past 4 weeks which has made me feel more relaxed as a parent. My son was accepted 1st time into HSPA 2017 and he is so happy! This was largely due to Angela's encouragement and support throughout the whole time.
Angela's professionalism and easy-going nature made myself and my child feel very comfortable.
