(Availabilities full - currently taking inquiries for sessions commencing after the 2020 HSC exams)

Hello! I’m a 2019 PLC Sydney graduate who loves to see students grow and flourish throughout their learning journey! I am studying a Doctor of Medicine at Western Sydney University. I specialise in Chemistry, English and Physics (as well as science competitions), and am also happy to tutor Music, Maths and UCAT.

As a previous Publications captain, peer support leader and debater, I am a friendly, clear communicator who thoroughly understands the stresses of high school! Over two years, I have 400+ hours of experience tutoring a diverse range of high school students - selective, non-selective and private - and helping them achieve great results. I have also written a HSC textbook (Hag-Seed Text Guide), course notes and have also delivered lectures.

Successful tutoring is not just about teaching well and challenging your comfort zone, it is also about fostering a safe and encouraging environment where you can freely ask any questions and explore your interests. That is why I leave my messages and email open for my students in case they have any questions throughout the week.

I have achieved many high distinctions in science competitions (ranging from Australian Science Olympiads, ICAS, ANCQ, Brain Bee etc.), and in my school was ranked first in two subjects and top five in four subjects - if you would like to see my detailed resume, please feel free to message me!

I have extra resources to supplement your learning, and provide homework if you would like. I also conduct small group sessions ($35/hr/pp, 2+ people), as I’m aware everybody has different learning styles and preferences.

I typically tutor at Macquarie University, Rouse Hill, Castle Hill and Western Sydney University (Parramatta/Campbelltown) library. I also offer one-off sessions if there is a particular competition/assessment/task you would like to prepare for, or can mark and provide detailed feedback for your essays/tasks (please message me for task-specific rates)

If you are interested, or have any questions/queries, please feel free to message me!

Grace is an friendly, knowledgeable tutor with excellent communication skills. She has tutored me throughout 2020 in multiple subjects. During this time, Grace has helped me achieve over ninety percent in my maths, chemistry and physics assignments. She has given me many study techniques and resources. Before I came to Grace I found science difficult and hard to comprehend, but after being tutored, I am now interested in a career in health science.

Grace was extremely helpful in providing feedback on HSC English answering techniques. She helped me understand how long/short I should write and also provided great insight to the questions she helped me with.

Grace has coached me in English for a while now, mainly focusing on writing. She has encouraged me to bring up my own ideas and has also constantly been teaching new techniques. She is very responsible and initiative :)

Grace gave couple of classes for my daughter just before the exam. She reviewed the extended response and gave her some recommendations. Grace was responsive and had a quick turnaround for a last minute request I made. Thank you.
